Bengaluru woman dies after collapsing at airport
A 72-year-old woman from Bengaluru died after collapsing at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. Mangalamma was part of a group of 30 people on a religious tour that began on March 9. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening near the boarding gate. Airport medical staff performed CPR and rushed her to Lok Bandhu Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival. Her son, Ramesh G K, stated that she had no serious health issues and that a cardiac arrest was suspected. Mangalamma was visiting sites like Kashi and Ayodhya with her group. She collapsed while crossing the boarding area around 7 PM. An official from CCSIA expressed their sadness about the incident and confirmed that their medical team acted quickly. An autopsy was conducted on Wednesday, and tissues were preserved for further testing to determine the exact cause of death.
