Bengaluru's Namma Metro Pink Line to finish by 2026

Bengaluru is developing the Namma Metro Pink Line, which will cover 21.25 kilometers. This project is part of the city's Phase 2 Metro expansion. It aims to help reduce traffic congestion for daily commuters. The Pink Line will be completed in two phases. The first phase is expected to be ready by December 2025. It will include 13.92 km of track with six underground and six elevated stations. The second phase will be finished by December 2026 and will add another 6.98 km and six elevated stations. The line will have a total of 18 stations. Notable stations include Kalena Agrahara, Tavarekere, and Jayadeva Interchange. Construction is currently progressing well, especially on the stretch from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere. Overall, the Pink Line is anticipated to greatly benefit commuters in Bengaluru once it becomes operational.
