Berlin Brothersvalley girls reach PIAA Class 2A final

Berlin Brothersvalley girls' basketball team has reached the PIAA Class 2A championship game after defeating Mountain View 41-38 in a semifinal match. Coral Prosser, a standout sophomore guard, scored all 16 of her team's points in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Earlier in the season, Berlin Brothersvalley won the Inter-County Conference title and is looking to build on their success. The team, with a record of 27-2, has an impressive 25-game winning streak. They will face Bishop McCort Catholic in the final. Coral Prosser, already a notable player with over 1,000 career points, highlighted her team’s confidence and defensive efforts. She scored a total of 31 points in the semifinal, including a strong performance at the free-throw line. Mountain View, led by junior Addison Kilmer, struggled with turnovers and could not keep pace with Berlin's high-pressure defense. As Berlin Brothersvalley prepares for the championship, Coral emphasized the importance of defense. They hope to carry their momentum into the final against Bishop McCort, a team known for high-scoring games. The Mountaineers are determined to compete for the title and continue their winning streak.
