Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang has been appointed as the new chief of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group. He replaces Maj. Gen. Ronnie Cariaga, who was reassigned after being relieved due to alleged misconduct during a raid. Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena from the Special Action Force will take over Yang's previous role as Southern Police District Director. Additionally, four police colonels have received new assignments within the National Capital Region Police Office, effective December 20.
