The Bethel Park softball team is looking to have a better season in 2025 after finishing last year with a record of 10-10. The team ended with a .500 record, going 5-5 in their section play and losing in the first round of the WPIAL Class 5A playoffs. Coach Nicole Davis is optimistic as she welcomes back four key players. Shortstop Audrey Campbell and pitcher Taylor Striegel are seniors and the team’s co-captains. Third baseman Anastasia Spano, a standout player from last year, and outfielder Julia Bitkowski, both juniors, also return. Davis believes the team is ready to be competitive. This year’s lineup features other strong players including seniors Kamiya Martin and Nina DePasquale, along with juniors like Cara Cummings. There are also several promising freshmen. In total, the program has 23 players divided among five seniors, five juniors, six sophomores, and seven freshmen. Last season, Bethel Park struggled with significant graduation losses, particularly in the pitching department. Davis has experience coaching in various programs and is eager to help her team improve. She is assisted by coaches Shannon Wyzkoski and Cameron Meier.
