Bhojpur police to increase market patrols for security

On Wednesday, Bhojpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj and the local sub-divisional officer, Parichay Kumar, met with jewellery showroom owners in Bhojpur district. The meeting focused on improving security to prevent thefts and robberies. This meeting came after a robbery on March 10, where thieves stole jewellery worth over Rs 10.09 crore from a prominent showroom in Ara. Police officials, including local station heads, attended the meeting to discuss safety measures. The SP emphasized the need for showroom owners to install more CCTV cameras and hire trained security guards. He urged them to conduct thorough checks of customers at their entrances. The SP said that both owners and guards must stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police. The police officials also gathered feedback from the traders to better enhance their security strategies. Finally, the meeting concluded with an agreement to increase police patrolling in the markets, helping to reassure traders and keep their businesses safe.
