Bhopal hospital faces severe conditions, lacks air conditioning
A hospital in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh is facing serious problems. Patients at JP Hospital are struggling without air conditioning or fans. Reports show that many are restless, especially with the heat. The hospital recently started offering affordable MRI services, leading to a long wait for medicine and care. Staff members have noted that thieves cut the wires of the air conditioners. They claim that management has been slow to respond. Inside the hospital, it is concerning that doors to the intensive care units (ICUs) are left open. Patients in the ICUs need close monitoring, and the heat makes conditions worse. Families say patients are anxious and some even try to leave to find cooler areas. Critics from the opposition party have criticized the hospital's management. They highlighted issues like long wait times, dirty machines, and poor-quality medicines. They claimed that while everything looks good on paper, the reality is different. In response, State Health Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel assured the public that they are working to fix the ACs and will check for any faulty machines.
