Bianca Umali provides women’s health services in Rizal

Actress Bianca Umali organized an outreach event to provide essential healthcare services to women in Cardona, Rizal. This initiative marks the celebration of Women’s Month. During the event, Umali and the GMA Kapuso Foundation offered free pap smears and breast examinations to over 100 women, including local vendors. Bianca Umali shared a video on Instagram highlighting the event. In her message, she emphasized the importance of these medical services, particularly the pap smear for women’s health. “We are here today to give gifts and medical services... The pap smear is important for women,” she said. Umali also shared her motivation for the outreach. She believes in increasing awareness of women's health and medical needs. She said, “Our goal? To increase the sense of importance of the health and medical needs of women.” This cause is personal for Umali, as her mother passed away from breast cancer when she was just five years old. She hopes to raise awareness so that other women do not suffer the same loss or lack of knowledge about the disease.
