Big Bang Theory spinoff moves closer to series greenlight
The spinoff of The Big Bang Theory is moving closer to getting a series approval at Max. The four main stars of the new show, titled Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, met at Warner Bros. Studios on March 24. John Ross Bowie, who will play Barry Kripke again, shared photos on Instagram with his co-stars, emphasizing that filming has begun. However, this gathering was not an official event for Max or Warner Bros. Television. Instead, the actors reviewed two scripts written by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady. Chuck Lorre, the co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, is involved in refining the scripts before they are submitted for the series’ approval. Although the show has not yet received an official green light, the actors hold talent deals with Warner Bros. Television. This means they are expected to star in the spinoff if it gets finalized. As the production team prepares, fans are hopeful for the series to move forward.
