Big Meech released from federal prison and moved to halfway house in Florida
Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory has been released from federal prison and moved to a halfway house in Florida. He was released on Tuesday, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Flenory, 56, co-founded the Black Mafia Family and was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2008. His brother, Terry, was released early in 2020, while Big Meech's application for early release was denied. Flenory's official release date is listed as January 27, 2026. The Flenory brothers were known for trafficking cocaine and running a music promotion business, BMF Entertainment, in the 1990s and early 2000s.
