A 27-year-old man named Sumit Kumar died on Sunday evening after crashing his motorbike into a herd of stray bulls in Gurugram's Sector 86. The accident occurred at around 8:50 PM while he was on his way to work. Kumar, who was from Munger district in Bihar, had been living in Nawada Fatehpur. He was scheduled to marry in just two weeks. He worked at an automobile parts manufacturing firm in nearby Manesar. According to police, the bulls suddenly appeared on the road, leaving Kumar no time to slow down. Witnesses from a nearby electric vehicle charging station responded quickly and called for help. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the Civil Hospital shortly after. Kumar's cousin pointed out that the accident spot was poorly lit, with only one streetlight working. This made it difficult for drivers to see oncoming hazards. Police have stated that they are investigating the incident but have not found evidence of foul play. Gurugram police are also looking into better management of stray animals. MCG commissioner Ajay Kumar mentioned efforts to enhance their enforcement team to address the issue. They plan to increase fines on owners of stray animals to improve safety on the roads.
