Billboard Women in Music event set for March 29

The Billboard Women in Music 2025 event will take place on March 29 at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. This annual celebration highlights the achievements of women in the music industry. This year, Doechii has been named Woman of the Year. Muni Long received the Rising Star award from Honda. The group aespa is recognized as Group of the Year, while Megan Moroney is honored as a Rulebreaker. Angela Aguilar has earned the Breakthrough award, and Tyla takes home the Impact honor. Other notable winners include GloRilla as Powerhouse and Meghan Trainor as Hitmaker. Erykah Badu will receive the Icon award, and Jennie is recognized as a Global Force. ANNA and Charlotte Cardin share the Global Women of the Year award, and Gracie Abrams is named Songwriter of the Year. Tina Knowles will be honored as Mother of the Year. She is known for her significant influence in music, particularly with her daughter Beyoncé. Her upcoming book, "Matriarch," will showcase her experiences in motherhood and leadership. The event will feature presenters like Julia Michaels, Mickey Guyton, and Kali Uchis. Laverne Cox will host the ceremony, celebrating the creativity and impact of women in music.
