Bills predicted to draft receiver Emeka Egbuka
The Buffalo Bills had a record-setting season in 2024, scoring the most points in franchise history. They were also the first NFL team to achieve both 30 touchdown passes and 30 rushing touchdowns in a single season. However, the team still needs a standout receiver. Last season, the Bills traded for Amari Cooper, but he did not become the main target they hoped for. Former NFL executive Mike Tannenbaum believes the Bills will select a top receiver in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He predicts they will choose Emeka Egbuka. Tannenbaum thinks Egbuka has more talent than the current Bills receivers, such as Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman. He describes Egbuka as a precise route runner with great hands and compares him to a younger version of Amari Cooper. Last season, Egbuka recorded over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. Adding Egbuka could provide the young, skilled wideout the Bills need. There are concerns about Coleman’s performance in the second half of his rookie season. Selecting Egbuka seems like a smart decision for the Bills’ general manager, Brandon Beane.
