Billy Corgan has entered an auction to win Courtney Love's handwritten lyrics to the song "Violet." He announced on Instagram that he purchased three tickets for the auction, which supports the Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary. The auction runs until December 15, with proceeds benefiting rescued animals in Sumatra. Corgan expressed a personal connection to the song, believing it relates to someone he knows. Love wrote "Violet" in 1991, and it was featured on Hole's 1994 album "Live Through This." The lyrics were found in an old notebook returned to her by police after being in a stolen locker.
