Bitcoin approaches $90,000 as Indian investors see higher returns than US counterparts
Bitcoin's price has surged nearly 1,200% over the past five years, recently reaching around $89,956.88, boosted by Donald Trump's election win. In the last week alone, Bitcoin rose about 30%, reflecting renewed interest in digital assets. Indian investors have seen even higher returns, with Bitcoin increasing over 1,427% in rupee terms, compared to 1,200% in dollars. The Indian rupee's decline against the dollar has contributed to these greater returns for local investors. The global crypto market capitalization has also risen, reaching $3.01 trillion, with a 40% increase in trading volume. This growth is attributed to favorable market conditions and increased institutional investment in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
