Bitcoin surges past $82,000 as ETFs rise following Trump's election victory
Bitcoin has surged past $82,000, driven by optimism over a favorable regulatory environment following Donald Trump's election as U.S. president. This marks a significant increase from its low of $38,505 earlier this year. Bitcoin-linked ETFs have also risen, with the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF up 6.67% and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust increasing by 6.58%. The iShares Bitcoin Trust saw a 7.21% rise. In contrast, Ethereum dipped slightly by 0.61%, but its ETFs performed well. The ProShares Ether ETF rose by 8.28%, while the Bitwise Ethereum ETF and iShares Ethereum Trust increased by 7.09% and 8.42%, respectively.
