BJP issues notice to MLA for criticizing state government
The BJP in Uttar Pradesh has issued a showcause notice to MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar. This is due to his recent comments against the state government. The notice, given by state BJP chief Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, calls for Gurjar to respond within seven days. Gurjar's remarks at a press conference included strong accusations about the corruption of government officers. He also criticized the Ghaziabad police for disrupting religious events in the city. During the press conference, Gurjar wore a torn kurta and claimed that police had ripped his clothes. The party is taking this matter seriously and has stated that Gurjar's comments could hurt the party's reputation. The notice is issued under the direction of BJP's national president Jagat Prakash Nadda.
