BJP issues whip for MPs to support budget vote

They are urging all members to be present and support the passage of the Budget for the financial year 2025-26. The party aims to push through various funding proposals during this session. In Lok Sabha, Speaker Om Birla criticized Opposition MPs for wearing T-shirts with slogans. He asked them to change their attire to ensure decorum in the House. A similar situation occurred in Rajya Sabha, where the session was also adjourned due to protests involving DMK members. Both Houses of Parliament are set to reconvene on Friday, March 21, 2025, in hopes of moving forward with the budget discussions.
