BJP MLA calls for regulating azan loudspeaker volume
BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya from Rajasthan has called for regulating the volume of loudspeakers used for the Islamic call to prayer, or azan, during Ramzan. He claims the volume has been deliberately increased, causing issues for people with health concerns and students. In response, Congress leader Pratap Singh Khachariyawas criticized Acharya's comments, suggesting that some BJP MLAs are not mentally stable. He accused the BJP of failing to address real issues and instead making provocative statements. Acharya emphasized the need for police to monitor loudspeaker volumes and ensure they comply with regulations. He argued that high volumes should be adjusted to accommodate those affected by noise.
