Bleecker Street has acquired U.S. rights to "Relay," a thriller directed by David Mackenzie, which premiered at TIFF. The film stars Riz Ahmed, Lily James, and Sam Worthington and is set for a theatrical release in 2025. "Relay" follows a fixer, played by Ahmed, who navigates dangerous situations while keeping his identity secret. The film's plot intensifies when he is approached by a client needing protection. This acquisition adds to Bleecker Street's recent festival successes, including "The Friend." The deal was negotiated with assistance from UTA Independent Film Group and CAA Media Finance.
