Blood donation drive in Kolkata and Durgapur successful

A major blood donation campaign is taking place in West Bengal, with events held in Kolkata and Durgapur. This initiative is organized by LG Electronics India in partnership with the Care Today Fund. It is part of a nationwide effort called “Life’s Good When Life’s Shared.” The campaign started in early 2025 and will continue until March 2025. Over 50 blood donation camps have been set up across the country so far. As of March 20, the campaign has recorded 12,000 registrations, leading to the collection of more than 9,500 units of blood. Many young people are participating, including students and faculty members from various universities. Some of the institutions involved include BITS Pilani, IIMSR, and Ramjas College. The campaign is also expanding to government offices like the Delhi Police Headquarters and AIIMS Delhi. LG Electronics India aims to reach even more people through this drive and increase its impact across the country.
