BMW's iX3 electric SUV launches in September 2025
BMW has confirmed the launch of its first Neue Klasse model, the iX3, set for September 2025 at a motor show in Munich. This marks a significant step in BMW's push to expand its electric vehicle lineup. The iX3 will feature a new "Digital Nervous System" for improved range, efficiency, and driving experience. It will utilize sixth-generation eDrive technology, reducing energy loss and weight, while cylindrical battery cells will enhance energy density and charging speed. Following the iX3, BMW plans to introduce a next-generation i3, which will compete with the new Mercedes CLA EV and Tesla Model 3. The company aims to release over 40 new and updated models by 2027.
