Bob MacIntyre takes break before The Masters preparation

Bob MacIntyre is excited to take a break in Oban, Scotland, before preparing for his first Masters appearance since 2022. The 28-year-old golfer recently finished in the top ten at the Porsche Singapore Classic, where he placed tied for ninth. The event was won by his teammate Richard Mansell. MacIntyre's recent performances have been strong. He finished 11th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and 9th at The Players Championship. In Singapore, he faced challenges after a tough start but turned things around with a great second round. “I thought my game was really good again,” said MacIntyre after the tournament. He noted that a few mistakes affected his performance, but he felt pleased overall with his preparation. After a long journey from Florida to Singapore, he now looks forward to resting before ramping up training for The Masters. “I’m needing a break,” he said with a smile. MacIntyre plans to spend about ten days at home before heading to Orlando for training. He will work with his swing coach and caddie to finalize his plans for Augusta. Mansell, who won in Singapore, expressed his joy at securing his first victory with caddie David Kenny. He noted that Kenny helped him pace the game better. Meanwhile, golfers Carlos Ortiz, Patrick Reed, and Jason Kokrak earned spots in the upcoming Open at Royal Portrush through a recent tournament.
