Bobby Bedi unveils diverse film projects including AR Rahman musical and Saudi adaptation of Macbeth

Bobby Bedi has announced a diverse production slate at the International Film Festival of India, featuring projects like "Mudras," a documentary about a Spanish dancer's journey in India, and "Bandit Queen MP," a film about Phoolan Devi's political rise. Bedi is also developing "Mansur," an Arabic adaptation of "Maqbool," a retelling of Shakespeare's "Macbeth," aimed at the Saudi market. Additionally, he is working on "The Flowering Tree," a musical fantasy with themes of gender and environmental issues, in collaboration with A.R. Rahman. Other projects include "Lala & Poppy," a love story between two transgender individuals, and "Artists & Assassins," about a deaf Indian painter in 1950s Mexico. Bedi's productions reflect a blend of cultural narratives and social themes.
