Bobby Lashley, a former two-time WWE Champion, has officially debuted in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) during the Fright Night Dynamite event. His arrival marks the reunion of a fan-favorite group, now called the Hurt Syndicate. Lashley made his entrance after Swerve Strickland defeated Shelton Benjamin, who was accompanied by MVP. The lights went out, and Lashley confronted Swerve, leading to a chaotic scene involving Benjamin and MVP. The Hurt Business, which included Lashley, MVP, and Benjamin, had disbanded in early 2022. The new formation in AEW does not include Cedric Alexander, who remains with WWE's NXT brand.
