Body found in Tongariro National Park search for Kelly

Police have found a body while searching for 79-year-old Geoffrey Kelly, who was reported missing near Tongariro National Park. His car was found abandoned in a ditch on February 21. After discovering the vehicle, the police launched a search operation. Despite extensive efforts, including the use of drones and help from local volunteers, they could not find Kelly initially. Authorities believe the body discovered is that of Kelly. They are now providing support to his family during this difficult time. The community came together to assist in the search, but sadly, it has now ended with this finding.
