Boeing increases sourcing and aircraft deliveries in India
Boeing plans to increase its annual sourcing from India from Rs 10,000 crore, expanding its partnerships in manufacturing and training. The company aims to deliver more aircraft to Indian airlines, including two per month this year. Boeing's production rate is set to rise, with expectations to reach 38 B737 MAX planes monthly. The company also plans to increase B787 Dreamliner production from five to seven per month, benefiting Indian customers. Boeing is committed to developing India's aerospace ecosystem, investing in airports, training, and engineering. While there are no immediate plans for a final assembly line in India, Boeing is building a strong supply chain and ecosystem in the country.
