Boeing's 737 MAX family surpasses 1,700 aircraft produced
Boeing has produced over 1,700 aircraft from its 737 MAX family, which includes four main variants. The MAX 7, the smallest variant, has yet to enter commercial service despite first flying in 2018, with significant orders from Southwest Airlines. The 737 MAX 8, similar in size to the 737-800, has seen 1,314 deliveries and is popular among airlines, particularly Southwest. The MAX 8-200 variant offers higher capacity for low-cost carriers, with Ryanair being a major operator. The 737 MAX 9, with 244 deliveries, is primarily operated by United Airlines, while the largest variant, the MAX 10, is still awaiting certification. Both variants face delays similar to the MAX 7.
