Bollywood stars debuting in Telugu cinema successes

Several Bollywood stars are now making their way into Telugu cinema. This comes as the Telugu film industry continues to gain global popularity with hit films like RRR and Pushpa. Sonakshi Sinha is set to make her Telugu debut in a horror thriller called Jatadhara. She announced her role in the film, sharing her first look on social media. The movie is directed by Venkat Kalyan and will combine mythology with supernatural elements. Anurag Kashyap, known for his work as a filmmaker and actor, will also debut in Telugu films. He will play a fearless cop in the action drama Dacoit, alongside Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur. The film will be shot in both Hindi and Telugu. Cricketer David Warner is getting involved in acting too. He has filmed a cameo in the Telugu movie Robinhood, starring Nithiin. The director, Venky Kudumula, expressed excitement about casting Warner for a special role in the film. Emraan Hashmi is preparing for his Telugu debut in the film OG, where he will portray a gangster named Omi Bhau. This action thriller, directed by Sujeeth, had a planned release in September 2024, but production delays have pushed it back. Finally, Adarsh Gourav has begun shooting for his yet-to-be-titled Telugu film. He expressed his eagerness to work in the industry, mentioning that Telugu is his mother tongue and he felt it was time to make his debut.
