Boots has introduced a new benefit for shoppers. Customers can now earn Advantage Card points when they order food through Deliveroo and Uber Eats. This means shoppers will get one point for every £1 spent on food orders. To earn the points, customers just need to enter their Advantage Card number during checkout. However, points will only apply to the price of the items, excluding delivery and service fees. Paula Bobbett, Boots' chief digital officer, expressed excitement about this change. She said it adds benefits for customers using delivery services. They can enjoy quick delivery and still earn points for future purchases. Boots has been partnering with Deliveroo since 2021 and expanded their service in 2022 by teaming up with Uber Eats. Currently, over 240 Boots stores offer delivery through these platforms. Customers can access more than 10,000 Boots products, including health and beauty items. Deliveroo and Uber Eats representatives also shared positive comments about the partnership. They highlighted how the new feature makes essential products more accessible and enjoyable for customers. To join the Advantage Card program, shoppers can ask staff in-store or register on the Boots website. In-store and online, customers earn three points for every £1 spent. Though customers can earn points on many products, there are exceptions like baby milk, prescriptions, and gift cards. Customers can use their points to save money on future purchases. Additionally, Advantage Card holders can get discounts on many Boots own-brand products.
