Boston's most wanted man arrested for breaking and entering
Boston police have arrested a man who was on the city's most wanted list. The suspect, 36-year-old Donnell Butler, was taken into custody on March 15 after a reported breaking and entering incident. Police responded to a call on Arcadia Street in Dorchester at around 2:00 a.m. They found Butler attempting to close the door of a vehicle. When he noticed the police, he dropped a backpack and tried to escape over a fence. Officers quickly apprehended him, but he resisted arrest, leading to a struggle. Additional officers arrived to help secure Butler in handcuffs. A search of the area revealed several items believed to be burglary tools, including an electric stun gun, screwdrivers, and a socket set. Police also found a switchblade knife in Butler's waistband. Butler was already wanted on five warrants for various crimes, including breaking and entering and larceny. He is set to appear in Dorchester court to face charges related to the recent incident, including breaking and entering at night, possession of an electric stun gun, and resisting arrest.
