Boulder hosts Irish ceili dance and photography events
Today, March 22, there are several events happening in Boulder. At 1 p.m., the NoBo Corner Library will host an Irish ceili with the McTeggart Irish Dancers. This dance party continues the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. The event will include performances, crafts for all ages, snacks, and drinks. Everyone is welcome to learn some Irish dances. McTeggart is the oldest Irish dance school in Colorado, originally founded in Cork, Ireland in 1939. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Meadows Branch Library offers Drop-in Tech Help. This service allows people to get assistance with technology for up to 15 minutes. No registration is needed, and help is available until the time limit is reached. Later in the day, at 6 p.m., the Bus Stop Gallery will have a closing reception for the photography exhibitions "Alternative Landscapes" and the Member Photo Show. This event is part of the 2025 Month of Photography Denver. At 8 p.m., the Velvet Elk Lounge will feature a performance by the Honky Tonk Express, a Denver-based country band. The band combines traditional country music with elements of blues and funk. Tickets are available for $18. Looking ahead to Sunday, there will be a Skincare 101 event at 12:30 p.m. at the Meadows Branch Library. Attendees will learn about skincare products and techniques, with free face masks provided.
