Boulder Public Library hosts Musical Storytime today
Boulder has several events planned for Monday, March 24. The Boulder Public Library is hosting a Musical Storytime at 10:15 a.m. Families can enjoy songs and musical stories together. All ages are welcome, but children must be with an adult. At 11:15 a.m., the library will hold a Rainbow Toddler Dance Party. This event is for toddlers aged 1 to 3, along with a caregiver. Children can dance and play with colorful props. Later in the day, the Chess Club meets at 5:30 p.m. It welcomes players of all skill levels. Chess master Joshua Romero will guide participants. This club is open to ages 8 to 18, and younger children can join with an adult. On Tuesday, Boulder Social will host a Burger Knockout at 11 a.m. Each week, two burgers will compete for votes. The winning burger continues to the next round. This event runs through April 28. Also on Tuesday, the Trident Cafe will feature author Cecily Stone at 1:30 p.m. She will discuss her debut book of poetry, exploring modern motherhood. At 6:30 p.m., Boulder Book Store will have a signing for Mary Robinette Kowal's new book, "The Martian Contingency." Attendees will need a $5 ticket. On Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m., Velvet Elk Lounge invites guests to enjoy vinyl music and happy hour specials. Finally, comedian David Nihill will perform his show, Shelf Help, at the Dairy Arts Center at 7 p.m. His show mixes comedy with book recommendations. Please note that events are subject to change.
