Boyarsky's ill health cancels his St. Petersburg performances
Actor Mikhail Boyarsky will miss several performances at the Lensoviet Theatre in St. Petersburg due to poor health, following his recent discharge from the hospital. The theatre announced that Boyarsky will not perform in "In This Lovely Old House" on April 27th, nor in "Theatrical Romance" and "Romeo and Juliet" on April 29th and 30th, respectively. His role in "Theatrical Romance" will be taken by another actor, while his voice will be used in a recording for "Romeo and Juliet." Boyarsky, a guest artist at the theatre, was hospitalized earlier this month after a fall, suffering a fractured rib and bruised lung. He was released from the hospital on April 24th.
