Brake line cut; drunk driver arrested in Brook Park

A man reported on February 27 that someone cut the brake line of his pickup truck parked outside the Saharid Social Center. Security footage showed a Cadillac driver tampering with the truck. Police are pursuing charges against the Cadillac owner. On the same day, a 51-year-old Cleveland man was arrested for being intoxicated in a parked pickup truck outside Subway. He admitted to drinking several beers and failed sobriety tests. Police found open beer bottles in the vehicle. Additionally, a woman reported on March 5 that all four tires on her car were slashed, suspecting a man connected to a friend who owed him money. Separately, another woman reported identity theft involving a loan she never applied for.
