Brazil restricts entry for certain Asian refugees

Brazil will impose entry restrictions on certain Asian nationals seeking refuge, effective Monday. This decision targets migrants from India, Nepal, and Vietnam, who often use Brazil as a transit point to the U.S. and Canada. Over 70% of asylum requests at São Paulo's airport come from these groups. Travelers without visas must either continue their journey or return home, according to the justice ministry.
