Brian Vaughan named head football coach at Arlington Catholic
Brian Vaughan has been named the new head football coach at Arlington Catholic. He joins the school after spending eight years at Lynn Classical. This is Vaughan's fifth head coaching position in his career. Vaughan has coached at other schools, including South Boston and Boston English. He has also served as an assistant coach at several schools. He expressed excitement about the new opportunity at Arlington Catholic, saying it was a chance for a change. In other football news, the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association is preparing for its annual Awards Banquet. It will take place on May 4 at the DoubleTree in Westborough. The event will start with a reception at 4 p.m., followed by dinner at 5 p.m. Several coaches will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during the banquet. They include Jeff Cormier from Auburn and Steve Dembowski from Milton, among others. Assistant coaches and players will also be recognized for their achievements.
