Brisbane Airport (BNE) in Queensland has partnered with Cirium, an aviation analytics company, to improve its operations by using advanced data analytics. This makes BNE one of the first airports to use the Cirium Sky Warehouse, a cloud platform designed for better data management. The integration will help Brisbane Airport manage flight schedules, allocate resources, and analyze operations more effectively. Jeremy Bowen, CEO of Cirium, expressed excitement about supporting BNE's efforts to enhance passenger experiences and handle future travel demands. Ryan Both, the Executive General Manager of Aviation at Brisbane Airport, highlighted how accessing Cirium’s data will enable better automation and decision-making. This improvement is part of a larger transformation project called Future BNE, which includes 150 projects over 10 years. The goal is to upgrade terminals and prepare for increased passenger numbers, especially with the city set to host the 2032 Olympics. Currently, about 25 million passengers use the airport each year, with expectations of an additional 10 million in the next decade. The Cirium Sky Warehouse will not only provide schedule data but also other valuable information like flight statistics and weather forecasts. This partnership marks a significant step toward a more efficient and sustainable future for Brisbane Airport.
