Brock Bowers nears rookie tight end records as Raiders face Buccaneers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is close to breaking the rookie tight end record for receptions. He has 84 catches and needs just two more to tie the record of 86 set by Sam LaPorta in 2023. Bowers also aims to surpass the rookie receiving yards record of 1,076 held by Mike Ditka. He currently has 884 receiving yards as he heads into the Week 14 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, Bowers is unlikely to break the record for receiving touchdowns by a rookie tight end, which is 12, as he has only four touchdowns so far this season.
