Broncos select receiver Tetairoa McMillan in mock draft
In a recent NFL mock draft, analyst Mel Kiper Jr. predicts that the Denver Broncos will select wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan from Arizona with the 20th overall pick. In this draft scenario, the Broncos are looking to provide additional support for their quarterback, Bo Nix. Earlier in the draft, top running backs Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton were chosen, which influenced Kiper's choice for Denver. He suggests that the Broncos might prefer to enhance their passing game rather than their run game, which struggled last season. Kiper notes that the Broncos' run game averaged only 4.1 yards per carry, ranking them low in the league. Javonte Williams, a key player in that position, has signed with Dallas, leaving a gap to fill. However, Kiper believes that McMillan would significantly strengthen the receiving corps for Nix. McMillan is a tall and skilled receiver. He stands at 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 212 pounds. Last season, he made 84 catches for 1,319 yards and scored eight touchdowns. Kiper ranks him as the No. 19 overall prospect and the second-best receiver available. The draft will take place next month, and the Broncos are expected to make strategic choices to enhance their roster.
