Browns sign Cleveland native linebacker Jerome Baker

The Cleveland Browns have signed linebacker Jerome Baker to a one-year deal. Baker, a local talent from Cleveland, played college football at Ohio State. Baker’s journey began in high school, where he helped Benedictine High School win a state championship in 2014. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round in 2018 and spent six seasons with the team. Last season, Baker moved to the Seattle Seahawks and was later traded to the Tennessee Titans. Over his career, he has recorded 24.5 sacks, 25 passes defensed, five interceptions, and seven forced fumbles. The Browns recently hosted Baker for a free agent visit, leading to the agreement.
