Browns sign offensive lineman Teven Jenkins to improve line

The Cleveland Browns have made a significant addition to their offensive line by signing Teven Jenkins. He was previously with the Chicago Bears, where he was known for his solid performance. Jenkins, a second-round pick, started 38 games during his time in Chicago. In the 2024 season, he had one of his best years, earning high grades for his play. He ranked as the 18th best guard among 135 qualifying players according to PFF. His pass-blocking performance was particularly noteworthy, as he recorded a 75.8 score, placing him in the top 15 in the league. The Browns struggled with offensive line issues last season, allowing the second-most sacks in the NFL. Signing Jenkins is seen as a smart move to strengthen their protection for the quarterback. Although Jenkins played guard previously, the team still has established players like Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller in those positions. There is a possibility that Jenkins could be moved to tackle to fill a different need on the line.
