Bruins add prospect Lysell to boost struggling offense

The Boston Bruins are looking to improve their offense by adding young talent to their lineup. Fabian Lysell is set to play against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday. The Bruins have lost four consecutive games and have been having difficulty creating scoring chances. Interim coach Joe Sacco confirmed that Lysell will be paired with teammates Elias Lindholm and Marat Khusnutdinov. This follows Lysell's recent call-up from the Providence Bruins, where he has had a strong performance this season. Lysell, a 22-year-old forward, was previously called up earlier this season. He did not play in the Bruins' last game, a 5-1 loss to the Golden Knights. In the AHL, he has scored 11 goals and made 23 assists in 51 games. The Bruins had hoped Lysell would earn a spot on the roster during training camp, but he struggled and was sent back. In a change on defense, Michael Callahan is also expected to replace Ian Mitchell in the lineup.
