Brunswick Hills man cited for dog bite incident
A resident in Brunswick Hills Township, Ohio, was charged for failing to restrain his dogs after one of them bit a visitor. The incident happened on March 2 when the victim, who had come to help the owner move, was bitten on the leg and wrist by an 8-year-old Boxer mix. The owner was unable to provide proof of the dog's vaccinations. This was the third reported dog bite at the same residence in the past year. In another incident, police responded to a report of two men breaking into a neighbor's home on March 5. The witness suspected they were recent tenants who had been evicted. Police found one of the men at the scene and charged him with trespassing, burglary, and possession of criminal tools. The suspect claimed he had nowhere else to go and was taken to jail. Additionally, on March 7, a woman reported that the locks on a house she bought at a Sheriff's auction had been changed. A mortgage company had left a note and caused damage to the front door. Police assisted her in gaining entry, but deemed the situation to be a civil matter.
