Brussels Airlines suspends Luanda route effective March 2025
Brussels Airlines will suspend its Luanda route at the end of March 2025. This decision follows a previous announcement in December about changes to its Africa route network, which included adding capacity to existing routes. With the suspension of the Luanda service, Brussels Airlines will increase flights to Kinshasa, making them daily. Passengers traveling to Luanda can still use Lufthansa flights from Frankfurt. Luanda was Brussels Airlines' longest route. After its suspension, Nairobi will become the airline's longest route. The airline plans to introduce more direct flights as it receives additional aircraft in the coming years.
