Bugatti launches exclusive Tourbillon customization package
Bugatti has launched a special version of its Tourbillon hypercar called the "Équipe Pur Sang." This name means "Thoroughbred Team" and honors the company’s long history in motorsports. The new package includes features designed for better performance and aerodynamics. The Équipe Pur Sang package comes with a front splitter, a rear wing, and a unique exhaust system with eight pipes. It also has a new rear diffuser to improve downforce and give the car a more aggressive look. The car will have 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels in the back, designed to improve airflow to the engine. This change enhances cooling and efficiency by up to 8 percent. Inside the car, customers can expect luxury features like Alcantara Performance Seats and carbon fiber trim, with special logos throughout the cabin. Bugatti Managing Director Hendrik Malinowski emphasized that the Tourbillon already combines incredible power with modern technology. He stated that Équipe Pur Sang celebrates Bugatti's racing spirit. The Tourbillon is powered by an 8.3-liter V16 engine that delivers 1,000 horsepower, along with three electric motors that bring the total to 1,800 horsepower. Remarkably, this hybrid model is lighter than the previous version due to a new T800 carbon composite chassis. Only 250 units of the Équipe Pur Sang will be made worldwide, each starting at €3,800,000 (around $4,120,782). Customers will have a chance to personalize their cars at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim or at partner retailers.
