Burglars steal valuable items from Ludhiana food office
A burglary occurred at the local food supply department's office in Ludhiana on Sunday night. Staff found the damage when they returned to work on Monday after a two-day break. They discovered broken windows, disordered office items, and missing government records. Thieves stole several valuable items, including ceiling fans, a gas cylinder, and a stove. According to Assistant Food Supply Officer Ramandeep Singh, it was clear that the office had been ransacked. The police were alerted to the situation right away, and an investigation has begun. Inspector Baldeep Singh mentioned that the burglars unscrewed and removed ceiling fans. They also took fixtures from the bathroom, including water taps. The police are now examining nearby CCTV footage to track down the suspects. The food supply department office has recently moved locations multiple times. It has been operating from a temporary site since the previous location in Samrala's main market was changed. Assistant Sub-Inspector Jarnail Singh confirmed that police are taking the necessary steps to address the situation.
