Burglary reported on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood

A resident on Detroit Avenue reported a burglary at 4:28 p.m. on March 10. While the resident was on vacation, items were stolen from his apartment. On March 14, at 12:29 p.m., police stopped a man on an electric bicycle. The bike had been reported stolen. The man was charged with receiving stolen property. On March 9, at 10:31 p.m., another resident on Clifton Boulevard reported that someone threw a brick through her apartment window. Police received a call about an assault on Detroit Avenue at 12:16 a.m. on March 10. A man stated he was bleeding from his face and that his friend was also being attacked. Officers arrested two men for assault and disorderly conduct. On March 13, at 10 a.m., a resident on Bunts Road reported that a package had been stolen. At 11:06 p.m. on March 13, an anonymous caller reported a car playing loud music outside an apartment building on Detroit Road. Officers cited a woman inside the car for several offenses, including disorderly conduct while intoxicated. A patrol officer charged a man with operating a vehicle while intoxicated near Detroit Avenue on March 14 at 11:46 p.m. Early on March 15, at 2:27 a.m., police stopped a man on Detroit Avenue who appeared intoxicated. He was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to identify himself.
