Bus crash in Tai Po injures 12 individuals

A bus crash on a highway in northeastern Hong Kong left 12 people injured on Wednesday. The accident occurred in Tai Po at 12:15 PM. The bus crashed into a road barrier while approaching a slip road to Kwong Fuk Estate on the Tolo Highway. The bus driver suffered a back injury and was taken to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital. The other 11 injured passengers were sent to either Nethersole Hospital or North District Hospital for treatment. Bus company KMB confirmed that it is looking into the incident. They are also providing support for the victims. The Transport Department reported that the affected lane of the slip road has since reopened after being temporarily closed.
