Bus supports youth activities outside Kirkby McDonald's

A bus has been parked outside Kirkby’s McDonald’s since January as part of a partnership with local charity Vibe UK. The initiative aims to support young people in Northwood and Knowsley by providing activities and services every Monday evening. Inside the bus, young people can engage in games, arts and crafts, and receive sexual health services. Vibe UK has conducted 33 hours of outreach, reaching over 140 youths, funded by BBC Children in Need. Due to its success, Vibe UK has received additional funding from Knowsley Council to expand the program to another McDonald’s location. The initiative is part of McDonald’s Makin’ It program, which focuses on supporting youth in the community.
